Care
Silver undergoes a natural process called OXIDATION, which can darken or tarnish your jewelry. It is a natural phenomenon that alters the brightness of the silver's surface making it dark and opaque.
Oxidation is not a manufacturing defect, but a natural phenomenon that can be accelerated through certain actions or circumstances.
To ensure the durability of your jewelry:
Avoid contact with substances such as perfume, moisturizing creams, hairspray, chlorine, sulfur, shampoo, detergents, soap, cosmetics and tanning products.
Avoid bathing in the sea or swimming pool and household chores such as washing dishes or sports activities, in addition to bathing and washing hands using jewelry.
Moisture, air pollution and sulfur can cause oxidation in silver jewelry.
Excess uric acid eliminated by sweating can also accelerate this process.
Always keep your silver jewelry dry.
Do not soak silver jewelry in boiling water and do not use abrasive products for cleaning silver.
Always clean your jewelry with a soft cloth and store it in order to avoid contact with other jewelry or other metals.
